Description
These are high quality breakout boards for QFN packages and include header pins. Boards are available for the following package types:
- QFN16, 3x3mm IC size, 0.5mm pin pitch
- QFN20, 4x4mm IC size, 0.5mm pin pitch
- QFN24, 4x4mm IC size, 0.5mm pin pitch
- QFN28, 5x5mm IC size, 0.5mm pin pitch
- QFN32, 5x5mm IC size, 0.5mm pin pitch
All boards breakout the pad on the IC underside (if present on the soldered package), and include thermal vias and a plane on the underside for the IC pad.
Both sides of the boards include a silk-screened area where you can write the component name (with a Sharpie or similar permanent marker). Not more forgetting what component is on your breakout board or needing to get out the magnification to check!
The quantities supplied are for the various types:
- QFN16 – 10
- QFN20 – 10
- QFN24 – 10
- QFN28 – 5
- QFN32 – 5
- QFN16,20,24,28,32 – 2 of each type of board (10 total)
Header pins are included with each sale for you to solder yourself. The quantity supplied with each board type is:
- QFN16 – 10 x 17 = 170
- QFN20 – 10 x 21 = 210
- QFN24 – 10 x 25 = 250
- QFN28 – 5 x 29 = 145
- QFN32 – 5 x 33 = 165
- QFN16,20,24,28,32 – 2 x 17 + 2 x 21 + 2 x 25 + 2 x 29 + 2 x 33 = 250
The boards are FR-4 fibreglass, 1.6mm thick. The rows of pins are designed to align with breadboards with 0.1″ pin pitch. The spacing between the rows are:
- QFN16 – 0.4″
- QFN20 – 0.4″
- QFN24 – 0.4″
- QFN28 – 0.5″
- QFN32 – 0.5″
